Year 1994, the origin
We were returning from an intense trip to Tierra del Fuego: a mysterious place that until then we had only been able to imagine. Francisco Coloane's novels were for us the first approach to these impervious lands, alongside the fascinating accounts of more experienced travelers. Our intuition was taking shape.
The discovery of Cape Horn.
It was one place in particular that inspired us: Cape Horn, "the last place in the world," as it was called by Coloane in his stories. The southernmost point of Hornos Island and conventionally identified as the extreme frontier of Latin America, Cape Horn is a place where the forces of nature collide, creating an area as rich in contrasts as it is enchanting.
